Introduce
Chrome-molybdenum stainless martensitic steel for quenching, showing the structure of perlite after heat treatment. After hardening and tempering it reaches the hardness of 220 - 275 HB depending on the dimensions.
It shows corrosion resistance in environments containing nitric acid in low concentrations, nitrate, bicarbonate and ammonium nitrite, zinc carbonate, manganese chloride, vinegar, potassium nitrate and mixtures, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, water, steam, acetone, alcohol, gasoline, glycerine, chloroform, oleic acid and salicylic acid.
