Smelting Process

Mechanical Properties (Room Temperature)

Heat Treatment Process

• Annealing: Heat to 750-800℃, hold for 2-4 hours, cool slowly in furnace (≤50℃/hour) to room temperature
• Quenching: Heat to 1000-1050℃, hold for 1-2 hours (based on thickness), oil quenching for rapid cooling
• Tempering: Heat to 150-200℃, hold for 2-4 hours, air cooling (for high hardness); 250-300℃ for balanced toughness
• Stress Relief: Heat to 200-300℃, hold for 1-2 hours, air cooling (after machining)

Surface Finish & Tolerance

• Black Surface (As-forged/As-rolled): No machining, tolerance ±1.0mm (for bars), ±2.0mm (for forgings)
• Turned Finish: Applicable to round bars, Ra 3.2-6.3μm, dimensional tolerance ±0.05mm
• Ground Finish: Applicable to precision bars/plates, Ra 0.8-1.6μm, dimensional tolerance ±0.01mm

• In-production: Dimensional inspection (calipers/gauges) every 2 hours, ultrasonic testing (UT) per EN 10228-3 standard (100% for forgings, 20% random sampling for bars)
• Post-production: Comprehensive testing (chemical composition, mechanical properties, hardness, metallographic structure), corrosion resistance test (if required)
• Certification: Provide EN 10204 3.1 certificate (standard), 3.2 certificate (third-party inspection) available; SGS/TUV/BV inspection supported
